A public threat-intelligence service, launching soon from Validus AI. It studies the internet's supply chain — the domains, extensions, packages, and apps attackers abuse — so defenders can spot machine-generated threats early. More details soon.
As part of this research, Validus AI operates a crawler that fetches the publicly available homepage of a domain to classify what the site is — the same category of defensive scanning done by VirusTotal, urlscan.io, and Google Safe Browsing. It requests only the site root, does not attempt to log in, and never circumvents CAPTCHAs or login walls.
You can identify it by its User-Agent:

It egresses from static IPs with forward-confirmed reverse DNS:
